Mary-Esther's timid self reminds me of how so many times i'd opt for flight instead of fighting my way through. I'd be fully aware that the flight response will cost me something... anything, could be grades, good relationships, and even good opportunities but i'd still run. A really stubborn anxiety... It gladdens me that she found her foot; and as i try, i wish same undauntedness for myself as well.
